For some reason I thought mobile cameras only operate when going towards them….
I do like those little TVRs

How to win friends and influence people...especially if they happen to be in an unmarked traffic car...

I would struggle to justify over £700 RFL though, but it is a thing of beauty

Sadly not... Devon & Cornwall used to use a '10 per cent plus 2mph' tolerance, in which case I was done for 0.2mph over...

I simply do not speed anymore.
It is all too monitored everywhere with traffic nowadays, and just pretend I'm in Wales all the time!
Driving in UK is not much fun anymore, just a domestic chore feeling.
In France the other week on hols, and speeding cameras were prolific, and so many 30Kph limits it makes Wales feel amateur and half-hearted in its approach.
Every 30 Km zone was commenced by a rise in the road surface, about as high as a sleeping policeman and 10 ish meters long with a similar ramp off to the road, same at the other end of the zone.
Makes driving there very irritating.
On toll roads you had a warning of a speed camera, the speed limit and that the cameras was somewhere (sometimes) in a distance of zero to 23Km down the road.
Keeps you at the limit!

But it’s a good pic

Bit of dust being kicked up, or you are doing a burnout

that might explain why you get over 30mpg in your boxster and I get 21 mpg out of my spyder

Yet all checks including DVLA show that registration as a Toyota MR2?

Well I couldn’t quite work it all out. It had a proper clam shell rear but it fitted really poorly
It was rear, not mid engined like an MR2 is and had Peugeot on the rocker cover (though appreciate this can be fabricated)
Prob a bitsa was pretty striking though and at least the engine was on the right place. Exhaust exited nicely

Just back from a three week tour around Europe, which included a visit to the Mercedes museum in Stuttgart, where I feel in love with this 300 SLR

There is a link on Facebook by the owner, it is home built, a 205 shell placed on an MR2 chassis and running gear, which is probably why it comes back as such on a DVLA search.
