Clearing through the attic of my mum’s house and found an old family photo album never seen before and found these - Definitely Goodwood, around 1950/1

I cannot believe people are talking about a staged shot of Mr Cheese, as 'cool' when there's is this pic to look at.....2 x V16 BRMs, the Thinwall Special and an A type Connaught.....now that is f##king cool....

.

The most amazing sound of any car I've ever heard was Nick Mason's original BRM V16 (now owned by Bernie Ecclestone I think) doing demonstration runs at Silverstone & Brands Hatch ~ 30+ years ago (with Gerry Marshall at the wheel if I remember correctly) ...

Further research (ie Wikipedia) shows that this was Reg Parnell (No:1, on the inside) driving a V16 BRM P15, 1950 for the Goodwood Trophy in a non classified round of the Formula One calender, Sept 1950

Looks like a cross between a Type 77 and 87, but those had side windows in the back, an air scoop in the roof, and a fin at the back. Some sort of speed special?
