Yes they’re Porsche Classic parts. As you can see from the photos the fit is excellent - we were originally going to use Dansk wings as they were going to be £340 cheaper for the pair. However when they arrived Neil quickly realised the quality was terrible (unlike the rear quarters we used) and would need about 25 hours’ work to make them fit so they got sent back and these ones are great.
I'm glad to hear that because a few years ago somebody at the ESR said he suspects that genuine Porsche body panels are made by Dansk, which really put me off.
So, thanks to you, I now know they're not Dansk so I can buy new panels from an OPC with confidence.
A little bit of engine work since I was last there - WOSP 150 A alternator, crankcase cover and oil sensor fitted.
Also, Angus found a repro left hand cooler cover at the LA Toy & Lit Show in aluminium for $200 - never seen one of these anywhere before, so I’ll take that even if it’s not the exact mirror image of the right hand one. But I don’t reckon the factory race department would have done anything different in period for the 24 2.5 STs they built (including the 3 rally cars) - just like them cutting the fixing brackets off the right hand oil cooler to make the left hand coolers….

There are differences between the left and right hand stone guards as there are small differences in the profile of the inner wing left compared to the right hand side if I remember correctly. The stone guards butt against the inner wing. The left stone guard is not a modified right hand side one unlike the oil coolers themselves which are modified as you state with the brackets being cut off and repositioned.
Depending on the manufactured date of the 1972 car there was a later quite different stone guard along with a different attachment method of the rubber seal around the stone guard.
