This is not my car but wanted to add it for all the Alfisti.

My car will be finished next week, the garage are giving the car a final polish, adding the Quadrifoglio decals, number plate and other small details. I am really looking forward to having it back and getting to know the car again......just in time for winter.

It's still summer and autumn is a lovely time of year. Hope the pick up goes well and the car meets your expectations.

Totally rustfree 1750 engine with around 140bhp.Many Alfaholics parts fitted. You would struggle to find another in same condition.

I agree Autumn is a lovely time of year, but as far as summer goes, you are in London, its virtually summer all the year that far South. Scotland is a different story all together! I have not forgotten what the car drives like, not totally anyway. Mechanically everything will be the same other than the gerabox, I am looking forward to the different feel the car is likely to have not having to worry about pushing hard into second. The syncro had gone so second was always carefully selected then on the gas.

Stopped in today at the garage, so close to being complete. Some window seals, tracker getting powered up and checked, wing mirror fitted and final polish. They gave me a row for getting a dirty foot print on the carpets.

Oh gosh that is stunningly beautiful.

See how the reflection of the roof windows puts an off centre white stripe up the bonnet? I like the look of that.

I loved the way the light was reflecting like that, I really like the way the picture turned out. A strip might come at some point! The guys in the workshop are of mixed opinion regarding the quadrifolio stickers on the sides and the rear, I don't think they like anything on their paint work.

You sound Welsh there ..... I like you more already! That is a great looking car - that video of the Alfaholics car makes me want one pretty bad!

That is a lovely car, great restoration and years ahead of happiness!

Personally love the tweeked saloons, bit fugley but still full of the right character.
