.
I'm with Gary - that's horrible !
However, as the standard Astons go, I much prefer the original 6-cylinder DBS styling to the later V8 version ...

The body looks stock, it’s just the GT40 esq wheels that jar for me.

My brother in law had a red 16v BX exactly like the one in the corner of the showroom in the early 90s. It felt like an absolute rocket ship - really light cars for their size with composite bonnet and boot etc, plus wafer thin steel doors

Citroen were, in my mind, ahead of the game when it came to styling at the time. I think the XM was a masterpiece...

I ran a black 1.9 GTI 16v BX as my everyday car back in the late '90's/early 2000's - great cars

I had a French registered XM in the large 90’s.
Loved the looks, the ride and the exclusive feel of having it, not a common sight in the West Midlands back then or ever.
Rubbish electrics though, but a v nice car to have.
Went back to the factory a year later and I had to have a string of Rover 800’s….oh dear.

I learnt to drive in my dad’s XM 2.0 petrol manual. I loved that car, he hated it

. Previously he had company fords for ever and then a couple of Volvo 240 glt estates. The xm had suspension failure more than once
