Down in Hampshire at my Dad’s at the weekend and was heartened to see a tradesman using a proper vehicle to run his business - super cool, and I shouldn’t imagine many still exist in RHD…

That's surprising Andy, not been for a little while but generally a good mixture of cars.

Yes Darren - I've been down to a few of their Sunday meets which usually attract plenty of interesting cars.
This time it was probably due in part to coinciding with CLM & the British Grand Prix ...

New Speed 6 continuation cars launched today at Goodwood, if you'd like one of the 12 it's already too late
Is that Donington? I thought there was a bridge there somewhere, but I've never really seen it before!

It’s Starkey’s Bridge:

It used to have a modern bit that extended it over the track, I guess longer ago the brick structure went right across too.

I think it is where Mansell had his big touring car off in the Mondeo

Here is Starkeys Bridge in the original track, apparently it was only ever 3 arches and is protected by English Heritage

Out of interest here is a map of the 1937 GP track with modern Donnington inlaid in red

Never seen one of these before. A Wells. Looked very much like a rebodied Elise.

Oh dear. What a disastrous little thing. It’s odd to me that people are willing to sink, presumably, hundreds of thousands of quid into creating these sorts of cars but clearly don’t involve actual professional car designers.
It was fine when they were £15k kit cars, but they want £45k+ for that. Nearly twice as much as an MX5 or for the same money you could have an A110 or an Atom or a Caterham or Morgan.
And when decently designed low volume stuff like the Zenos can’t sell more than 100 or so cars at half the price before they go pop what possible chance is there of this sort of thing succeeding?
Hang on. Is it a money laundering front like those American sweet shops in London?
