Shame it can't stay this low...

Two and a half days to hang a rear bumper? Really?

Headliner going in at last...

Still love the yellow lights – not sure the MOT man will.

Shiny!

Less is more... only switchgear on dash is to the left of the wheel: ignition, headlights and screen heater. No radio, no ashtray, no glovebox, no heater controls.
Top will be finished in black vinyl, to match door cards etc.
Why? No reason other than I always admired Mies van der Rohe's outlook on design.

(Oh, and that horrid steering wheel is not staying...)

I nearly died when I saw that wheel!
The clean-look dash is a very nice idea. Assuming you have a heater in the car, where will you locate the slider controls to the flaps and blower?
Looks like you are still sitting very /too low to the road so guess the engine/box are still awol?
I would keep those yellow lights as they are different and blend=in so well.
Lookin' good!

Hi Graham, I'm using a heated screen and the idea is to use the hand throttle lever to operate the heater boxes, with a simple floor-mounted on-off switch to operate the blower.
The 'box is done (thanks to Mike Bainbridge - who else?) and the engine is in the hands of Bob Watson...

Hi Keith,
I have been following your build of the 912-6 both here and on line and through Classic Porsche and am very impressed by the work.
I understand from one of the magazine articles that you had the separate oil tank for the 6 cylinder engine cleaned and E-coated. This is a process I would like to use on the oil filter and oil breather housings on my own 912. Could you be kind enough to tell me and the rest of the gang where you got your tank serviced?
Thanks and keep up the good work both on El Chuco and in Classic Porsche. The magazine gets better with every issue.
Matt

Well, my car's not going to be as detailed underneath (or most anywhere else, for that matter!) as yours, but realistically I doubt I'll be ready for CLM, so don't fret!

Those are nice!
Are you topping them off with a TT silencer?
If so, will be v interested to see what you think.
