Looks like the 355 was very successful in 2021 in the hands of James Little, who is from Ipswich where the crash was. Hopefully he was driving it, but at 7am on a Saturday it whiffs a bit of the workshop tech being out for a razz or similar.

I suppose it does look a bit like a Testarossa. More like a 348 though. And even more like one of those MR2s with a body kit.
It seems it's a Ferrari F355 Challenge car which some oik nicked and took on a joy ride...
EDIT: Just seen Sam's post.

I often wonder how this happens,. But then perhaps the phone in his hand has something to do.with it.
I reckon the police who do the accident investigation stuff, reading the road etc, probably have an interesting job.

He didn't see the bollard and took a short cut.
The bollard moves but once he was up there he was stuck for 3 hours until I came along with three other cyclists.
Together we could lift it a bit but then some onlookers waded in and also helped and we moved him off it.

Brilliant!
It’s great to read in Motor Sport that VSCC are offering half-price entry fees to young drivers, unlike so many clubs who moan about the lack of younger competitors, and do nothing about it.
Are you all at Wiscombe Park next weekend Winston? I won’t be there unfortunately, we’re entered in the British championship round at Harewood.
Cheers

The VSCC have a thriving youth movement, they have a real laugh, look out for each other, and new recruits. They occasionally come up against people who have forgotten that they were young once! The classic trials scene if also very yoof friendly, but other organisations really lag behind on this, and fail to realise that if you put them off young, they may never come back to share the passion. I'd have said hi Winston if I knew you were there.

The one at Mathewsons was based on the Fiat 600 shape (as opposed to the above car which is 500-based) but it used a much more modern Zustava variant as the base.
Here's my '63 850TC Nurburgring:
- only 843cc but faster than a 1275cc Cooper S ....
