Porsche for sale of the day..........
So a ringer then
Take one stolen IB and chop in a 72 vin …
…. Although looking at it, it might be an early shell with a brake booster grafted in ? Rear slam panel is early
Engine is worth some money though assuming its engine number isn’t tampered with

Re: Porsche for sale of the day..........
I'd've been all over that if I'd known about it - after a thorough inspection of course. Irish documents so no import tax for me, RHD which I'm used to, and it's already messed with so a prime base for hot rodding with no guilt. I'm starting to get funny about using the 964. I'd rag the shite out of that thing and not worry about it at all.

Oh I know. I love it, genuinely. But it's inching closer to irreplaceable in a way that a mongrel like that never could be.

Possibly an ex race car?
Too late now but had I known I would have put it out to PCI forum to see if anyone knew it. There are not a huge amount of aircooled cars here so likely someone would have done.....................
I'll ask Dave Whelan [majordad] when I see him- he knows everyone!

Possibly? I'd be interested to know for sure! Glad I'm not the only one who can see the potential, though.

Been offered for sale by Sports Purpose more times than I can remember. No real racing history and not a particularly significant ST imo.

Pretty sure I looked at that in the past (about 10k at the time) I didn’t want it even at that money! If you need an S engine then it’s worth whatever they go for and scrap the rest.hot66 wrote:So a ringer then

When an auction house states in the description “Close inspection of this lot is advised” you really really really should…
