MOT day today:
Glorious sunny day again - but boy was it cold (I don't 'do' hats, scarves or gloves) !!

Read a good magazine article today on the first 7 sold and it's emergence in a barn (of course) in Scotland.
Lost it's side valve engine and box, BMC in it's place, but Metropolitan rear axle still there. Being restored now, what a great project.
The 7 was my dream car when at school.

Got my "nearly finished" beast out of the garage for the first time since buying it in 2020 in New Mexico.........awesome machine.

Even after owning a couple of Caterhams I’m taken aback by how tiny the early Lotus 7 are!
