Something wrong with the height levelling cos it’s down on the back.

A life long friend travelled in this car when it was new with his girlfriend of the day, so great sentimental attachment. Year later he found it as a pile of matchwood and fibreglass and identified it. He’s a keen aero modeller, so happy with plywood and fibreglass and was able to restore it to original condition. There was an article about it and his father’s E Type he still has in one of the classic car magazines. I think a wheel fell off the Marcos.

Yep, looks like it's pulling a wheelie!
The driver didn't look a day over 21, mighty pleased to be posing in a ratty Déesse in central London, and kept slowing right down and then planting the throttle all the way down Regent Street

They have self levelling sensors on the rear arms, so I guess they’re not working.

Ref Marcos:
School boy dream car, literally.
Sent a letter to them asking for a brochure in about 1966 and got one back, and one of a miniMarcos too.
Drove a V6 example 4 years ago and really was underwhelmed.
however, great design, interior light between the fixed seats etc, still get my attention today at shows.

It’s a very nice original car with a Ford cross flow 1600cc engine that goes well. Comfortable too, of noisy as they all were then, jags excepted.

Shelsley Walsh is full of magic moments if bit scary driving it hard...
The place is so remote, even more so way back then, hard to imagine so many making their way there in those days.
Lots of fast Porsche's there next weekend. And then me!

I’m sure I’ve seen something similar on one of those “special” sites

Then 80 years later, in 2016, his son, Hans Joachim Stuck returned with the Auto Union!
What a sight and sound!
