Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
I have a soft spot for them. My Dad had a bright yellow Vitesse for a while with a brown interior

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
Back in the day we made all the body hardware, window regs to sunroof and door locks etc. Difficult car and a difficult company to deal with.
Our products were a bit crappy too mind...
My then boss loved them to death and not so affectionately the Hondas that followed.
I had the Rover 800 Vitesse which followed the SD1, looked great and was terrible, but so were all the Rover 800's I had (5 of them)
The One pictured looks a beauty and easy to see why so many lust for them now, bit like the Ford 3 litre Capri's of the same era.

As far as I know, yes. I bumped into his partner, Tony Loader, at the Autosport show a while ago and Jan was still going strong. He never really got over the death of his son Keith at Avus in the ADAC series. I knew them both well and it broke my heart to see how the loss of his son affected himLightweight_911 wrote:That's a name that I haven't heard for many years - is he still around ?KS wrote:... Or at present in UK, on the hills, not.
Above is ridiculous, silly and he deserves all he might get, but he has a mask so no fume problems...

Both side by side separated by a Healy 3000...
The Zagato was so very nice, detail everywhere, the 250?
Well, we all know it is perfection, and this one looked so right in the sun.
Oddly, many walked straight past them.

Jason - it's a Ferrari 250 GT TDF with Zagato bodywork.
Considering the rarity of the originals, I would imagine it's one of the more recent 'Sanction II' cars commissioned/built by DK Engineering ...
Stunning car either way.
