Not often you can’t name a car of this era, Andy!
It’s a (Willi) Martini BMW.
The one pictured is on its way to a class win at the ADAC 1000km in ‘65.

23 H - BRM turbine car - Jackie Stewart - I would say LM practice day April but the background doesn't gel - ??

Yes it’s the BRM, and it is indeed the LM practise day (hence the car still being unfinished - not yet painted).
The photo is taken at Mulsanne Corner, those are the (remote) signalling pits, which look a bit weird when unmanned like that.

Thks Andy,barry Carter dragged me around Monaco historic praising them........can’t attempt o spell it!
On reflection mulesanneshot recognisable but the bmw !!!!!!!!! Cant recognise any piece of it

The Rover-BRM turbine in 1965 guise. 'Idling' at 20,000 rpm, max 65,000 rpm and as Graham Hill put it "it sounds as if you’ve got a 707 just behind you, about to suck you up and devour you like an enormous monster" must have been quite a sight testing for Le Mans on the Coventry Ring Road!
