First UK VW sedan to run back-to-back nine second quarter mile. Runner-up in VWDRC championship 1991, record holder 1991, winner VWDRC championship 1992, equal first VWDRC championship 1993, runner-up VWDRC championship 1994. First four-cylinder car to qualify for a round of the Super Gas class. So I guess it fulfilled its potential.

Craig went on to race a 911 and still uses the Fugitive to tow a boat trailer...

Those were the glory days of VW drag racing and imho of the VW scene . ..or maybe it was just because I was young and everything was exciting and anything possible

I love these old Ferraris although I know Mike our resident expert is not so keen.
Anyway this guy seemed mighty happy but maybe that was because he had just picked up his friend and her little dog.
