The quotable Jim Glickenhaus reckons he's put 20,000 miles on his 206 Dino Competizione Pininfarina; “Not putting miles on your Ferrari is like not having sex with your girlfriend so she’ll be more desirable to her next boyfriend.”

Built for the Fittipaldis, the 407kg bi-motor VW was in the process of humbling a Lola T70 & GT40 in the '69 Rio 1000kms when it grenaded it's gearbox. More here:

First journey for jnr's covid project.... 54 'essential' miles. Trouble free, goes well, feels good. He's only 15 so I was works driver. He's really worked hard over the last 10 months on every aspect of a full rebuild from bits, putting in many 100s of hours. A proud moment and a great result.....

Fantastic, great to see the interest from a new generation. My Son has his Mk2 16V Golf stripped to a bare shell over the last 6 months.

It is an old Stuart Rolt body, made in 1981 or so. It was on a friends Ulster rep, very tired after much trialling and a mishap with a horse! He deemed it an uneconomic repair, se we rescued it with much of a new floor and a lot of repair patches.....
