That is going to be an interesting one for the publisher and the advertiser to sort out between them.

The 1500S was quite a car in its day. Harry Kallstrom came 2nd overall in the 1963 RAC Rally, beating a lot of famous and talented driver/car combinations, with two others in the top 20 finishers. When the 1500 Beetle came out first in 1967, one or two of the dealer's demo cars were mysteriously quicker than the customer ones - 1500S carbs and internals..........
A friend's 1500S was the first car I was a passenger in at over 100mph

Cool, my Dad's first car was a 1500 Beetle in chinchilla grey. My parents drove to Switzerland in it, my Dad driving long enough wondering what was going on with the handling 'til he realised he had a puncture & had wrecked the wheel...

Never come across one before. It’s a lovely looking thing. Bit 911 rear quarter lights, bit Toyota 2000gt, front end reminds me of a scimitar gte. A bit of a mongrel that works
