Dedication to the cause! Do regular E type restorations get this level of detailing?

I'm all out of superlatives for this work of Barry's.
I might meet him one day and see if he wears a wizard's hat.
I've seen a great 'tub' being done at CMC a few years back, no idea if the panels are as period-detailed as I'm no E Type expert but that was very impressive, it was a river-bed find of a USA E Type.
I love the methodical understanding and execution of this build, it is not a 'cellette' job where everything seems to be positioned so readily, this one needed some forethought and the results, to me, show through.
Great thread overall, with a very special chapter here.
I feel there is still some way to go until it is off to a painter?

Wow! Incredible workmanship!
One thing, though: it's put me off ever owning an E-Type!

Thanks guys
Timing is all in hand....never fear...
As to whether other E’s get so much attention....I have my doubts...I have never seen or read about anyone blending the floors into one...nor dealing with the cill to floor junction as we have....it’s a meeting of similar attitudes for this restoration....which is why it’s such a pleasure
As I mentioned at the beginning we are further on in real time"

....More soon.......
Thanks for looking
Jp

Great stuff JP
It’s debatable whether you should see someone about your problem. No doubt that you’ve got a serious problem; debatable whether anyone could help you with it.

JP, that is looking truly awesome. Love how it all looks like it’s carved from a single block of billet. Having that peace of mind from all the seams and epoxy and all sorts is great too.
Fabulous project.

Nice.
I reckon they made those holes with a gun. To use up some commie liberal non-armour-piercing bullets they got for Christmas.
Great work as ever, Mr Parr.
Cheers, Richard.

Good stuff. Looks like you dodged a bullet by re-skinning the doors.
