Porsche 997R on-board video on the famous trento-bondone hillclimb in northern Italy - I've been there to watch in 2004 and 2005 - would love to do it someday..... This is a proper hillclmb 120+ corners over 17kms
go to 2.30 for the start of the on-board

Good grief!

Longest hillclimb I've done is just over a mile with a dozen or so bends..
What a car that 911 is.

Thanks for posting. :)

I've been twice, the road surface is as smooth as a race track, simply awesome, they put 200 cars up "the hill" 3 times over 2 days - two practice runs on Sat and one final run on Sun. Big historic entry including early 911's 356 and later RS and RSR's - wonderfull!

If you've never gone find a reason to take the Mrs to Trento in northern Italy mid July for your hols - that's how i did it.

Video of a pilgrimage Neil Bainbridge and I made to Sebring last month. We took the 1973 winning RSR back to be re-united with Hurley Haywood on the 40th anniversary of his win with Peter Gregg.

All credit to Neil Bainbridge and Bruce Cooper's team at Sportwagen. My car and Mike's Martini have been slipstreaming each other (slowly!) through the restoration process.

The trip was an epic experience. Hope to write it up at some stage.

Fantastic video Philip and it was great to see your car at Robert's Goodwood day last year, it's absolutely stunning.

Great to see another one on track too, posted on Pistonheads: "73 RSR 0865 at Spa Francorchamps. The first time Brumos 95 has been to Spa in its illustrious career".

4:46 on the second clip. Great end.

Not sure if these have been posted before or not. Two of my favorite videos and cars, used to watch these on a regular basis before I bought my 993 4 years ago.
