It is proper art and looks beautiful, but if I could afford it I’d want to take it round a track

We visited on our honeymoon in 1992, a 2 week jaunt in my mum's 1928 Austin 7 Chummy. We were wowed by everything about the place, including the wine, bought a case of which we have 1 bottle left. I have a feeling that the wine wasn't as good as it seemed on the day of the tasting.... I'm not sure what occasion will cause us to drink the 1 remaining bottle. Whils eating our picnic in the car park, a mouse that had hitched a ride at a hotel in Alsace hopped out from under the passenger's seat, down onto the running board, looked at us and the surroundings and decided to alight here. I'm sure Monsieur Pont already had plenty of mice.....

Hi,
Believe it or not I am an absolute purist of originality however sometimes beauty is in the eye of the beholder and the gangly originals were YUK and obscene original wheels where specialist Michelin tyres are expensive and hard to find just occasionally causes me to waiver. This was on our way to the 1997 meet in Italy where I saw many cars that were previously registered as 'stolen'. I did pick up from an American a nice looking bottle of 1995 wine that he brought over a container load and will drink it one day.
Well I could (maybe) of got away with putting the picture in the Porsche pic of the day but then only the observant would know why.

So it does, it's a 1968 100MB with a 2.5 V6 in the back.
Are those skirts for ground effect ?

If we’re taking Skoda, how about this one I snapped at the Oldtimer GP in 2019:
