Always nice to see a classic when you’re out shopping

I am not going to turn this into ‘your caravan pic of the day’ but this is seriously cool and I know there is lots of Landie interest on here...

Image

The hatch is for an outside kitchen because it comes from Oz, but cleverly has an internal hatch too. It has a heavy duty chassis on air, with military axles. The only one in the UK.

Image

The Landie has a V8 and sounded awesome. Tiny steering wheel and alcantra / leather recaros. It was gorgeous inside but owner said the steering lock was still appalling!

In your manor Thomas...

I was looking round this the other day - very nice. Would have been tempted 18 months ago before I committed to the 914...

We are heading up there on Saturday - hoping it will have improved a bit by then as North Norfolk seemed to have biblical weather over the weekend!

I'm pretty sure I had a Corgi (or matchbox) model of that too. The car, Corgi didn't make the othe kind of model. Had a combo of lime green and orange colouring. My brother had an Alfa/Bertone Carabo in very green.
