2nd one is still sort of the same car, 1st one really isn’t! Both super cool and the SWB Quattro is on my imaginary lottery list.

Used to be in my Hill climb clas when I had the 911 and the Impreza.
Porsche: 230 bhp, FAR too slow.
Impreza 370 bhp, too slow.
AUDI? around 500+ ish or a lot more, Far too bloody fast.

More Group B shenanigans. Apparently Citroen tried to buy back all the BX4TCs after their poor performance on the stages. Getting a lift in a bog standard BX was the closest I got to a space shuttle in the 80s

Had a couple of these Abarth’d 500’s. best had a steel longer throw crank (£850ish from middlebarton garage around 1993), 754cc, 4 port head, lumpy cam, big arches with wide wheels, when on tune just over 50hp, thrashed around inner London and basically like driving a very fast Go kart and virtually unbeatable on narrow streets. Used as my wedding car, 100mph was perfectly possible and made most laugh. Great fun.
