The '66 is all up and running, fitted with it's original 327ci V8 and manual box, new bed floor.

The '57 has just arrived from New Mexico, to be restored when, and ONLY WHEN(so I'm told) I've finished the 911s and 912!!!

Ooh, Gordini rims. Getting quite peckish too - a sandwich would do nicely...

By co-incidence I have recently fancied getting a 60s/70s American car.

That reminds me of a run back through mid-Wales one afternoon in the very early ‘70s. I was in my Hillman Imp Van (service/parts mover for my Broadspeed Gp 2 Twin Cam Escort rally car) and behind me was a friend in his Triumph Vitesse, we weren’t hanging around. The Imp was not the best handling vehicle but having managed to successfully negotiate another series of bends, between Llanfair Caereinion and Welshpool, I looked in the mirror and saw the Vitesse in a very similar attitude to the one in this photograph. He survived the incident but sensibly waited until he got to a straight bit before trying to catch me up again.
