We'll happily follow you around & pick up all the spare bits that fall off.
I'll bring a shovel too

does everyone know how to get to the CB Inn?

This is the easiest way :)

From the South & the North ....

Drive along the A1 and pull off at Scotch Corner ( Signed Richmond).

At Scotch Corner take the 'RICHMOND' exit on the roundabout.

Follow this road through the village of 'SKEEBY' to Richmond.

In richmond, go straight on at the 1st roundabout

Straight on at the traffic lights.

Straight on at the next roundabout

Turn right at the next roundabout & follow this road out of Richmond signed to REETH.

After about 6 miles you will come to a split in the road. Take the right turn to REETH. Follow this road all the way to Reeth.

In REETH, drive up the village green and at the top you need to take the road straight ahead ( the road actually carries on around to the left --- do not follow this road).

Carry on along the moorland road for about 6 miles & you'll see the CB Inn on your right :)

Scotch Corner area would be a good place to fill up. The CB Inn is about 20 miles from there.

The Saturday route is approx 80 - 100 miles.

We will be stopping at Scotch Corner on the Sunday morning for fuel as well :)

Lunch Time Saturday is to be at Masham

I have not booked anything, instead leaving you all free to 'do your own thing' & find your own food :)

Remember Masham is home of Theakston Ales & Black Sheep Ales 8)

some info for you all to download etc beforehand:

http://www.visitmasham.com/

http://www.visitmasham.com/walks.php

http://www.blacksheepbrewery.com/

Basically if you walk up into the market square you have some superb pubs ( The Kings Head is nice) & there is also a good cafe that serves butties etc through an open window onto the market place :)

:( :( :( :( :( :(

Well, it's official - I've now booked my tickets - I've got to go back to the Far East, flying on Friday morning so I'm gonna miss the Northern gig

Johnny Tipler is coming up to take my room at the CB Inn and is borrowing LYV 10D for the trip (so let me know if he goes too fast!) so the club will get some excellent coverage I'm sure :-)

Have loads of fun, drive carefully and have a beer for me - see you in 2007?

for those travelling to the CB INN each day here are the meet / setting off times each morning:

Saturday

Meet in teh CB Inn car park 9.00am

Set off on the drive 9.30am

Sunday

Meet in the CB Inn car park 8.45am

Set off on the drive 9.00am

Please leave plenty of time to get to the CB Inn as the roads can be quite 'slow'

Sorry to hear that but good fortune in the Far East.

Glad to hear Jonny will now be on hand to record the Mavericks at work!

Because access to the Mexborough garages is not public & because Stuart who looks after the cars is giving up his free time to allow us to view the cars, I thought it would be a nice DDK gesture to have a collection & donate the money collected to a charity of Lord Mexboroughs choice :)

We can do the collection on the Sunday morning. I'd suggest a couple of pounds per person?

Hope this is OK
