Don't sweat it Chris, it's fine... just that if you notice DDk is an oasis of commercial free content. We're not that Google searchable, instead we're a quiet backwater of early Porsche appreciation and all the better for it.

My initial query about your watermarks was a knee jerk reaction to what amounted to you advertising your wares here on DDk. Nobody else does it... Gawd, imagine if someone started advertising double glazed windows here... how would you feel about that ?

I presume the dog watermarks are a post production thing, something you have consciously added before you posted your photos here on DDk. There's no need for it, your photographs are really quite something, I enjoyed them immensely.

Chris, don’t worry about it. Keep posting ... watermarks or not . Anyone who worries about watermarked photos needs to grow up . Ffs we were originally a group of Porsche fans getting together to have fun .. when did we get so up our own arses that a watermarked photo cause offence !

I posted them because I thought you might like to see them. I never anticipated that my watermark would be such a bone of contention.
No SLR was used.
Chris as Mike said don't sweat it, as I'm sure you know sometimes people on here just tease to get a rise out of you, other times they're just being a cock.....either way I'm sure no one's really stressed.........Used to be good sport when Jason was upsetting everyone! :)

Great photos btw and thanks for sharing.....didn't even notice the watermarks!

Chris- ignore all the crap - it’s a “photographer” thing - and keep posting!
If you didn’t use a DSLR what was it? Lots of nice DOF and conversely compression.....

not the most auspicious end to a CLM weekend

Image

Snapped half shaft 90 miles from Eurotunnel. Limited slip got me as far as the train, pushed on by friends, towed off by Eurotunnel. Recovery vehicle [un[]helpfully deposited me 10 miles up the road n Ashford Tesco car park at 11 pm - 'run out of hours mate, cant take you any further' - ended up home in a taxi by 1am.

Cant wait for 2020, fantastic weekend :P :compress: . Will have 911 to use next time.....

The 'old run out of hours' is a killer. Remember taking 9 hours to get from South Yorks to Norwich due to that one

I was at Goodwood yesterday and it was fantastic - loads of Porsche content this year obviously and am going back again on Sunday with the family.

What’s with this run out of hours gag? How does that work? I thought recovery was always to your home?

recovery driver is tacho expired. Has to take a rest. In theory they drive you to another location where another recovery picks you up. Never happens. In my case the same guy, apparently, who dropped me off at Tesco then went back to complete the recovery at 10am the next day.....

Had to leave the car in overnight inTesco car park from midnight, got a cab home courtesy of the insurance. I

insurer said 'we will recover it fully tomorrow, can you leave the keys in the car'...........
