Wish I'd hillclimbed the 911 instead of the Porsche powered Lola...
I can safely say a drowned 911 engine will run in rain...

I sat in my hotrod which feels fantastic, made to measure. Mrs R tried to sit in it, but it seems the buckets are not designed for ahem child-bearing-hips. Oh dear!

Car looks great with its new bodywork & colour scheme - just needs some sort of decal on the front to break up the large expanse of blue ...

Snowball Run.
Drove 820 miles. Pretty much non-stop ( apart from 90mins on ferry, and petrol stops).
Maybe try and post a few pics later.

Having managed to remove enough rusty bolts and screws to remove the nearside window and door frame yesterday, I thought I would tackle some cleaning today as the screws won't budge yet to remove the window motor.
When I got my car it came with a bucket of parts. I am not sure all actually come from the car but I cleaned some of them off as I reckoned I had a better chance of identifying them if they were clean.
Work still required for those on the right of the photo (and the rest) but at least they don't all look like that now.

I also acquired this.
Taken me a while but it helps to finish my little dash project once it arrives

Moved mine from the old workshop and into the garage at home.
Looked stunning in daylight, all fired up to get the work finished.
Think I may have named him as well, Luke..........
Not quite standard, not quite a warm rod!
