Stuck some double sided tape to a screw driver, opened the valve and went fishing !!

I'm trying to keep the EFI bits on the EFI thread, but this crossed over a bit

More update over there

And now its failed its MOT !!

It actually runs well enough to get the MOT station, so that has to be good.
And what did it fail on ???
A front bottom Ball Joint !! I didn't even check these, that'll teach me. Otherwise it passed. Quite happy really. I'll fix the ball joint and head back.

Good stuff Tim, bottom ball joint is a bit of a pain and needs a bit of brut force to remove the old. You'll need a proper socket to fit the new one, but the tool is easily made.

I can't explain how good it was to drive it again !
I run out of fingers counting the number of times I posted a "for Sale" thread !! but now !! WOW definitely NOT for sale !! and it isn't even running right yet. Pops and bangs, more kangaroo than Australia, but hey, who cares !! I certainly didn't, roof off and wind in what's left of my hair !!

You don't know how many people have wanted to see this succeed. Well done. Now will you be booking a space at the next midlands breakfast club?
See you there. James.

It is much easier to fit the new one than the removal of the old one....
Enjoy!

remember to use a new pinch bolt. Use the old one though to hammer in and line up the balljoint into the strut.
