Ah, those seats, fabulous the time I borrowed them. Wife won't allow me to buy them to make her more comfortable in the 911.
Is it worth doing the '1/2"'? ABP will have it all apart soon.
They are certainly comfortable
Ref the 1/2”: I want to get the ride heights pretty much bang on before I go as they won’t be moving torsion bars around, just using the adjustable elements.
Currently the adjuster is all the way up so I’ll mark that position then move the spring plate one or two splines and put the adjustment cam in the middle. I need to Google how much each degree of spring plate angle relates to ride height change.
Rather it was slightly too high than low as things only ever settle down.

Dropped my wife at the station this morning, got some fuel, got it covered in filth.
Running sweet!

My mats are 32 years old now and suffering. They were £22 the set at the time (Exchange and Mark specials) and thinking of a more robust replacement.
They use gravity
The back is covered in hard little spikes in the rubber that dig into the carpet (or they would if I had any carpet…)
But they are just really heavy and do not move

Your car's looking great Gary
After all these years I'm still surprised how small pre 74 911's are compared to modern cars (let alone vans)!
All the best

Its absolutely brilliant to see it on the road, and it looks so yummy, but I am having difficulty processing how anyone could have the balls to take their newly restored car out in the wet this soon!

Don’t get much choice with the weather so thought I may as well christen it now.

Wipers work! Forget to put any washer fluid in though.
Arch liners are now covered with ‘farm deposits’ so they are doing the job

That's the way to go!
Bit of grime makes all the difference.
Love how many cars are coming out in vibrant colours recently on here, more colour the better.
ABP looks a good place Gary, interested how you get on after a session there.

Dirt is life
Just indexed the rear bars and put the adjusters fully up, been for a drive but it still looks like a dragster
Should be enough downward adjustment to bring it back to spec.

I’ve used them for years for tyre swaps and stuff and more recently to do a full fluid swap on the TT. My daughters Mini is booked in at the same time this week for a clutch and track rod inners so they have all our family work this week!
