Seriously
Are you really getting a muira?

As an ex Lambo owner I've always promised myself a Miura. Do you like the colour ?
I traded my current classic + £800k cash to the very likeable and affable owner John.
He's based down here in Sutton and owns SCC, otherwise known as SPECIALIST CARS OF CARSHALTON.
They also keep very nice classic Porsche's
Will post a pic when it arrives.

It must take ages to count out all that cash, I get to a couple of hundred and I've got to start all over again.

After several hours of toil, I made what must be the most complicated engine mount for a simple engine, but massive progress. This kind of stuff is very therapeutic. :)

What lawn mower is that out of?

Not a lawn mower engine.
Far worse than that.
To make some progress on the French Folly that is this bloody bike, I thought of making it electric and get with the Kids.
However, my estimate of £500 was too much, so fossil fuel again.

This is a 4 stroke, 50cc push bike conversion engine, Chinese, that came to me from Germany for £150 delivered.
It looks great, about the same bhp as the 1950 original and won't smoke either.
Pull cord start and a 1,000,000 mpg promise, so just right for me.

My plan is to get this done, it is twist n go and light, and look to sell it as a paddock bike, a quirky unusual bike is an essential part of the kit to go with your Lola T70 or GT40.
Or I might keep it for 30mph flat out fun.

Have a tech issue to crack, but keeps my brain cell active.

I'm sure you are correct, it was unusual and very nicely presented.

Yes, and so classy, way beyond the Mini Sprints I've seen.
The removal of the body seams and the flaring to create a drip channel (ish) over the doors was really neat, wing mirror looked good too.
A lovely car that I wanted to bring home.

And another:

One from Hayley today, parked in Thorpe Arch near her Mum's.

Is it a GT 350 ? She might ask me later.

Hard to tell from a side only view but based on the following circumstantial evidence, i would say no. The presence of the vents in the sail panel (C pillar) mean it is a 1965 model so one of the early ones, arguably the rarer and most valuable.

1. Torq Thrust wheels where it should have the Kelsey Hayes steels or crager alloys

2. The sill stripe is incorrect on the front wing, there should be no block between the 350 and the wing back edge

3. No GT350 came with wing mounted Mustang badges

4. All 1965 GT350's were white

Now of course all of the above could have been changed to suit the tastes of the owner but in the current market, you have the rarest and most valuable GT350, would you fit the wrong wheels, the wrong decals, add badges it shouldnt have and paint it in a colour it would never have been.....unlikely unless you also planned to swap the original HiPo 289 for a diesel ......

Still a lovely car......am a bit partial to 65/66 fastbacks.....i have a black 65 with same wheels and badges but no sill stripe.....
