It's an Innocenti Coupe - essentially an A/H Sprite with Italian bodywork ...

I saw one of these today - first time I've seen one for years:

I owned one (briefly) back in the early '80's - in metallic bronze - & think it was probably the worst car I've ever owned …

Yes, a Matra-Simca Bagheera - the one I had was the later style as shown above & an 'S' version.

Dreadful ...

I think the replacement model - the Murena - was a much-improved car.

I think the replacement model - the Murena - was a much-improved car.
A friend of mine bought a Bagheera many years ago. 3 front seats me thinks.
He parked it in the High Street and did some shopping. When he returned
he was ambushed by a top ranking General of the Waffen - SS division of the
Simca Matra Bagheera Owners club.
He was then sternly lectured regarding the use of later than factory issue correct wheels
and informed that he was letting down the classic Simca community and further more
blah blah blah blah.
He didn't have the heart to inform the Simca 'General' that it was just going up for sale.
This was primarily because, after careful consideration, it was clearly and indisputably a heap of *u*!*ng junk !!

I wonder if Clive the Bantry Bandit aka Jaffa would have fitted in that 67 years ago?
