Lovely spring like morning in Southampton today, so took the old Lancia out
on a 40 mile run. She'll be 60 next year so needs all the exercise she can get.
She loves a tipple of octane booster mixed with neat Shell V power
and that sets her up for the day at 100 octane + still on original V6 engine and
pulls like a train.

I'll take that as a compliment Mike, there's a polished stainless sill plate just there, catching the light, but if that's all you can nitpick about a brand new car, designed & built by a hand full of passionate car enthusiasts in a shed; then I'm very happy :)

You have asked Darren, and this is all my own opinion

For me:-
The front looks lovely - but only because it looks like a mould was taken off an Aston DB4 GT zagato - except (obvs) for the front grill - and I think the front grill lets it down.

Being very similar to a beautiful car is a double edged sword - when I first saw it I wasn’t sure if it was trying to be a zagato rep - so for me the beauty it does have seems derivative.

The rear is too hunched - if those rear arches came down by about 6 inches then I think it would balance out the front - as it is it looks unbalanced. From a side view if you cover the rear of the car I think it looks great, then you take you hand away and think ooh.

The interior is way too flashy for me

Finally if you’re recreating that 60’s GT era then I think it needs to look handmade - this looks fibreglass (I don’t know if it is or not) - but if you’re recreating the 60’s then an English wheel should be involved

Just my opinion and beauty is always in the eye of the beholder. That test driver seemed to like it a lot
The simple things you see are all complicated
I look pretty young but I'm just backdated yeah
