What is it ?
Is it 'life size' or a scale model ?
Looks like it's been made up from parts of at least 3 different cars ...

Where have you been recently Andy?!
It is the Ant Anstead car which Darren has been involved with, now a real runner and last week on our video section.
I've seen it in the 'metal' and personally love it.

A few years ago when C&SC organised a 'shoot out' at Goodwood between a selection of replicas - including my 904, a GT40, a 289 Cobra & a Ferrari 250 SWB - Ant Anstead was meant to be bringing a couple of cars (including a so-called DB4 Zagato 'look-alike) but he didn't show … I think one of them was the pre-cursor of the car above.
The weather on that day featured monsoon rain so that may have been a factor - however, I drove down from the midlands & back in the 904 ...

That was a great article too, remember it well.
I thought the car was going to Moggie for an electric job, but one has gone to California iirc what Darren has said.
In the flesh it is a nice size, but I love the nostalgic shape.
That Skoda needs some plump black walls.

That was actually a wood frame & foam BUCK, from which our body was molded. It was dressed up for a photoshoot about 2 years ago, which is why the windows are just reflective film.
It was a true sculpture design exercise. (like a clay)
Nice post, but without the back story its easy to criticise the image not knowing the 1000's & 1000's of hours that go into creating a new car & a new British car company

Is there a link to the story? I assume we aren't referring to the Ford?

Here's an exclusive image from Saturday
Chassis 002-004.JPG
And an independent film here, I say "independent" as neither the film maker or Adam (Jaguar & Aston factory test driver & Racing instructor for some BIG names) were given access to the Comet with NO information or prejudice. The results speak for themselves.

Plus Justin's awesome film already posted on here.

(The sounds a bit flat on Grahams film because its from a go-pro)
However, turn up the volume on Justins, below

Judging from the bottom of the door/sill shut line, looks like the driving version is made from wood and foam as well....
