Re: Home Built Hot Rod (Full video build)
This week I was back working on the 911, but I lost all of the actual footage of the day. So here is a summary.

It has been several years now, but the engine is finally back in the 1973 Porsche 911 RSR project.

This week I tidy up a few loose ends on Harry 911, or should I say fix some of my mistakes.

Re: Home Built Hot Rod (Full video build)
Well, we have all suffered those 915 gear linkage adventures! What a pain they can be.
I've tried several short shift kits, none any good, made shifting gears harder.
The Rennshift change cured a lot of that and more.
New bushes everywhere Jeff!

Re: Home Built Hot Rod (Full video build)
Thanks guys. I will see how this short shift kit goes with all new bushings. Then I may look into further upgrades in the future.
Re: Home Built Hot Rod (Full video build)
Jeff, forget the damn gear shift, Start that engine!!
Come on, we've been waiting years for this bad boy to fire up.
Once the engine is running I'm sure all the other minor stuff like gears and brakes will happen quicker.
Last push now, well done.

Re: Home Built Hot Rod (Full video build)
Last week I sorted out my accelerator pedal, so this week it is time to tack the clutch. Should be an easy one shouldn't it?...
