Where's 'local' ?
.
About 5 hours northwards of you and no where near any Alfa specialists or exotic classic dealers, so very unexpected.

For anyone looking for a 2ltr GTV, these people have both a RHD 15,000 and LHD 30,000 mile for sale. Also a very nice DS and a couple of Porsche.

At last the Lancia Thema 8.32 is being recognised as an ultimate Q car.
Looks like a mundane early 90's family saloon but the slowly rising spoiler gives a hint of what's hiding under the bonnet.
I'm a huge fan of Harry's Garage and he can't be expected to know or understand every car he owns or tests but ----
1. Lancia is a two syllable word pronounce Lan-Cha not Lan-Sea-Uh or Lan-se-ah
2. Harry appears to think that Lancia should have felt honoured that Ferrari allowed them to use 'their' 3 litre V8.
Er -- Lancia's Vittorio Jano designed the original V8 for their D50 formula one racer in the 50's and off loaded the remaining stock to Ferrari when Lancia stopped racing.
Ferrari obviously then developed it further for their race and sports cars. If anything it came home to it's maker at Lancia.
A seriously quick family saloon.

This was in the workshop this week, one of the nicest I’ve seen.
Independent front suspension, four speed synchromesh and 90mph from 2.7 litres in 1934
It’s and Alvin Speed 20 that the owner has had since he was twenty one. He’s seventy two now.
