“If you want to attract our attention, repeatedly gesturing at police camera vans with your middle finger while you’re driving a distinctive car fitted with a laser jammer is an excellent way to do it."

He’d have got less if he’d stabbed someone whilst trying to shag their dog

I drove one back in the late 70's when my brother had one on loan for a week - unbelievable turbo lag made it a pig to drive (but, to be fair, those were very early days for turbo technology on a road car)

My dad had one when I was a kid and I remember the lag to be horrendousLightweight_911 wrote:I drove one back in the late 70's when my brother had one on loan for a week - unbelievable turbo lag made it a pig to drive (but, to be fair, those were very early days for turbo technology on a road car)
I drove One recently and was as bad as I remember, however the boost control was so mechanical you almost controlled boost with the throttle pedal so once you got used to it you could drive around that and it was a weapon
Hard to really get up it when it’s someone else’s prize possession but definitely a car to make progress in - must have been mind boggling when it launched!
What I’d really like to drive (for scientific comparison purposes, obviously ) is a gp5 e21 - WAY more everything..

In a similar vein to Keith’s post here’s a different take on the unlikely off roader theme:KS wrote:
