Nonsense!..,,,..I'll hunt it down!

Probably a huge circulation of the mag in Cirencester!
Cheers,
I have a copy Darren. If you've not seen it by then, remind me to bring it along when we next catch up.
Cheers, Richard.

Following on from the stacked MOMO horn buttons I made a little while ago I was asked if I could produce a Monte Carlo horn button.....
I had a go and produced a very limited run and they turned out ok.......but not great.....
The design was a tad too big however the main let down was the colour of the silver. Originally I used silver vinyl for the stacked MOMO buttons which worked well however the Monte design was too intricate and these were created using pad printing.....
Well, the chap who owns the very beautiful pre-Momo Moretti wheel in my previous post asked if I could produce another button for his gorgeous steering wheel.......I said I'd rather buy the wheel from him although failing that I would like to help but only if I can improve upon my initial attempt.
Would anyone know how to produce a chrome type finish, maybe a foil type process? It wouldn't need to be hard wearing as the logo will be lacquered however I would need a process for a very small batch.
If I can find a way of doing these I would also produce some better stacked MOMO buttons.......the logo was also too large on these previously!
I appreciate any thoughts or ideas
Cheers,

This would make a nice addition to any early Momo wheel -

But at nearly £500!

Then I find this one for over £600!

Obviously my budget of £250/£300 is a little optimistic?

Did i just miss out on something? The auction for this just ended, and my (what I thought over the top) bid was not sufficient.

That's a Les Leston steering wheel.
I think that 5001 kr (roughly £575) was probably a little over market value for one in that condition ...

I have just acquired this nice used (or patinated!) flat 350mm Momo steering wheel with no date code. Do any of the Momo experts know what exactly it is and approximately what date it would have been made?
Thanks.
Edit: There is a very feint trace of 'Monza' on the bottom spoke which looks like it's been rubbed off.

IIRC the later logo (not stacked) was introduced around 1973 and dates appeared in the mid/late seventies so yours would be somewhere in between, around 1974-1976.
Gorgeous leather and a lovely looking wheel
Congrats
Edited....Andy will correct me if I'm wrong.

I have one of those Porsche horn pushes from the early 80s, not worth that kind of money surely?

Have you been treating yourself again Darren.... How many wheels are in your collection now you must be well into double figures by now!
