Bugger. You may have a point. I’m going to blame Yahoo notice boards, the passage of time, my increasingly unreliable memory and a few life events along the way!
I think it came about somehow based on when the idea for the club was originally conceived, and that towards the end of this year we sort of enter into our 25th year... or something like that!
Clearly I need to do a bit of digging into the DDK archives before I start printing 25th Anniversary banners!

Ah, that explains it. Clearly the DDK timeline operates on Scottish/Interstellar time rather than Earth time. That would explain a lot.

We're a maverick bunch, getting the date of our own 25th anniversary slightly wrong is entirely on brand. I'll dig out the ancient Yahoo archives and establish exactly when this all started before I embarrass myself any further - maybe we rebrand this one to...... Must admit I would like to come along for the run too.
It is very close to a hillclimb date, but 2027 dates are not yet confirmed, but please put me on the list.

Never been on a DDK run like this before.
