Keith not sure this will help but I was running a 3.0 twin plug, 40 Pmo etc etc and had a similar issue that took a long time to rectify.
Short answer was 2 things.
1. Fuel pressure was set at 3 bar but after fitting a camera inside bay, under load this was dropping to 1.5/2 so I increased this to 4.2/3 bar and this ensured constant delivery as never dropped below 3 bar underload.
2. I had a race tank with swirl pot and turned out pickup was at one end of tank so going up hill, Knockhill, caused fuel starvation so basically ran with at least 1/3 normally half tank fuel as starvation outweighed weight saving and time loss ands moved pickup to centre tank though foam with cut out cup for delivery

Interesting - I might mount a camera so I can see fuel pressure throughout the run. I have a small bullet cam which would be ideal.

I have used it on my helmet in the past.

The DTA appears to have an input for a fuel pressure sensor and it has internal memory for logging data. So that is an option.

Annoyingly the O2 sensor will read lean regardless if it’s due to a spark or fuel problem.

An easy test would be to run the engine while wiggling wires such as the 12v power feed to the injectors (the ECU triggers via the ground side) and the HT leads. May yield nothing but easy to do.

My DTA T2 doesn't have such capabilities, I'm afraid...

As for wiggling wires, they've been wiggled to death.

Agreed - that's where I think the problem lies. One more Wiscombe event, followed by another at Tregrehan, and then six months of 'rest'. If I can get the car under cover for a week or so, then I'll be tempted to rewire the ecu and fuel systems from scratch.
