Scramble is what, £15-£20 and that gets some pretty special stuff…

Is Scramble per person now? First one I attended it was about £6 per car!

Everything goes up…and up…and up… including numbers of people attending: 8,000 at the last one! And yet it sells out the day the tickets go on sale!…

This probably why I haven't been to any shows lately, too tight arsed and too slow to book.

Simple Supply and Demand rules.
You want it, we have it, so lever the costs to the max.

A good spring day and the scramble is great.

We’re going, not taking either of my air cooled cars though.
I do think the pricing appears a bit steep this year but will reserve judgement until I’ve seen what’s on offer.
It’s slightly more grating when your car effectively makes up part of the display.

Scramble is still a damn good event though and worth every penny in my opinion and many others’ too. I think need to be more positive about our passion for cars including shows and stop moaning about the cost. Otherwise we might as well all go and buy Fiestas or something!…

True, I haven't been to Boxengasse before but given the coverage I've seen of previous ones and teasers for cars which will be there I'm looking forward to it

I’m tagging along with Clive and looking forward to the event on this my first visit. It will be very interesting to see what I think afterwards.

I've been going since 2004 and it is still the best of all events . Can be done on a budget too if you go public camping and book your tunnel in advance . IMHO, camping at the circuit is an integral part of the event. Admittedly it's not as cheap as it used to be though .

Spa classic & Six hours of spa are still great but much quieter events
Will definitely get to some of these events in time. Usually get distracted taking the family surfing in France for 3 weeks in July so the dates don't always work out.

As a big supporter of Megaphonics and have been helping Frank with a minor bit of organising I can honestly say I love the event! I don’t see the cost as too huge, yes it’s expensive but then so is everything else! It’s a cheaper day out then many other events still… try doing Bug Jam at Santa Pod if your a VW person!

I can honestly say the cars at Megaphonics are well worth the admission cost to me, as I am very unlikely to get to Spa or Le Mans etc as family and work commitments don’t really allow that at the moment.

I did a day at Prescott Hillclimb recently and cost me a lot more!
