What is the latest thinking on fuel

Hmm, I replaced all the fuel hose in the 356 with PTFE/Teflon lined braided hose and have since run it on mostly E5 98 but sometimes E10 95, it may be as often 50/50 each. E10 is better than running out. Facet pump still happy, but I have a spare plumbed in and I occasionally swap the power over to prove this works too. The accelerator pump diaphragms in the 40 IDF Webers both failed and have been replaced with Webcon replacements, and the stop cock/filter started to drip, so i've rebuilt that with bits from PRS. Car in daily use. Ethanol in our fuel is a bit like Brexit, I don't have to like it but I do have to live with it. I have little faith in the various 'snake oil' additives, but I am using Tetra-Boost in a high revving high compression vintage engine which doesn't have hardened valve seats.....only time (or mileage) will tell if it works....W
