I think you're right - sort of. They'll hit a completely different demographic and as much as their heritage and history is important they need to. Otherwise it will the brand will end up a memory - like Rover

Fortunately the Telegraph's Andrew English was at the Gaydon launch for the PR & Design Teams to enlighten us; 'the spirit of Gwyneth Paltrow’s batty Goop mail order firm was never far from the car when they introduced The Prism. This gimcrack case with sliding doors was filled with rare stone or metal oblong tablets which can be detached, drenched in scent and fitted into slots in the doors to allow occupants “to slow down their lives”.'
