I think that's what I'll try. Keep the original wheel arch if at all possible, and rebuild the flat part. Then build the support flange out to meet it.

Don't forget to post lots of pics !
By the way, I have tooling for all those pieces if you need to borrow any of it just call... I think I made up the pieces for one complete side but I only managed to find one part of it so far. Anyway, you'll see what you need once you remove the paint and start to take it apart...

Hi Rob, yes mine is a SWB but i believe they have LWB panels as well.

Is that tooling to make the flange/bracket that welds on to the wing, or the one that welds on to the body? If I remember rightly you were selling a body-side panel at the swap meet, with the bottom sawn off.
