Putting it all back together.



Which included another one of Jonny's Electric A/C kits, slightly different fitment on a 964, the majority of it goes behind the front bumper.

Compressor, condenser, fan etc all neatly in behind the bumper.





Access to the valves from the scuttle.



And an uprated alternator

Suspension rebuild next with KWv3 coilovers and some Rennline goodies. With all other parts zinc plated or vapour blasted.









"Big reds" painted in body colour, won't notice that much as its a dark colour, but in sunlight it should reveal as a detail.







We've also converted the car to use an Electro Hydraulic Power steering pump. The same rack is used but all the plumbing to the rear of the car and back is deleted along with the engine driven pump and this Mercedes pump fitted up front.



Mounted with custom made brackets and hydraulic lines.



Looks like it was meant to be there...

3.8 with RS+ Cams, Carillo rods, lightweight flywheel, Throttle bodies, GT3 inlet, Coil on Plug, Motec, equal length headers etc

Should be a bit of fun.

Thought we should fit a new oil cooler too!!

They came as part of a full induction kit from Rasant. There are various options/solutions if you have a google or search Rennlist etc. Different types have built in drivers or separate controllers.

Wheels, we forgot the wheels.

As is traditional on modified 964s we have fitted BBS E88 with reverse mounted faces.



We also fitted LED headlights, this version with Carbon Fibre inserts and a Daytime running light. They are the customers choice and at first I wasn't so sure (I wouldn't fit them to my own car for example) but I've now grown to like them on this build, they do fit with the look of this particular car.
