Love the simplicity of that, thanks as ever Mike.
Had a good chat with someone today who has built a lot of these engines with high lift cams and custom compression pistons and it has confirmed those clearances (minimum) so all I need are the pistons and rods.
Another long wait.
Keen to crack-on with this. Got to be back in the car by end Jan or early Feb. :shock:

I was going to suggest 1.75mm clearance as that's what I used to look
for when building RSR engines.

There seems no hard and fast rule Andy, 1.75mm = 70 thou so for the inlet.
some argue the exhaust gets hotter/expends in length more, so needs a bit more, 2mm say, 80 thou.

If I can find 80 I will be pleased.
If it is more I won't worry!

Dread the thought of less!!
