I think the Sportomatic transmission was fitted only to the T and the E - but not the S.
With its higher-level trim, that would make the car an E.

There is also the possibility (small admittedly) that the car was a T, with the higher-level trim fitted as an option, as was possible at the time, thus making the car a T LUX.
But as the car was to be used to tow a caravan, I would put my money on it being an E - for the extra power.

Did it ever get re-registered in the UK?
