My name as well:

Bert

Between Nottingham City Centre and Queens medical centre on the A52, off junction 25 on the M1.
Carry basic tools, manuals, relays, fuel pump, belts, and coil with me and I am mostly not home on weekdays from 7 am until 11 pm.
Try me on my mobile 07811 06 17 42, not much hands on knowledge but I can hold a torchlight pretty well!
Also a spare room if it cant be fixed and coffee tea and brandy.

There!

I carry a list of porsche indy's with me in the car- can we perhaps generate a list of DDK member locations and their contact numbers?
I presume we do have to be carefull if we leave the list in the vehicle and it gets removed by thieves, they know where to find more of these german beauties....

Best regards,

Bert

This thread has been dormant for a while hasn't it? I hadn't seen it before and its a great idea. Has anyone actually used it?

I toured the USA on my BMW bike back in 81-82 and the BMW Club of America publishes an annual book with all the members names and addresses in so if you are travelling then, if you carry the book, then you always have the number of a helping hand close by wherever you are. Nowadays I expect the data protection people would frown upon anything like that, but it does need to be in writing to be any good (unless you carry your portable with you). Anyway count me in, you know where I am. 07980 017994

I'm about 5 minutes from Tuthills so hopefully they can do the parts. I can certainly manage tools and tea (and biccies).

We are between Banbury and Daventry (J11 M40/J16 M1). 07973 288 196.
