There is nothing new in the view that T5 Bs are worth less than C's , it has been that way since the C emerged. In reality this means that the buyer has more of an opportunity to get a good deal with a B.

When I bought my first 356 in 1968 , I chose a ( very rusty) T6 B Super 90 made in 1963 . I could have bought an A for less money (!!) or a C for more money. I thought the A looked old-fashioned to my 24 year old eyes , and the aesthetics of the
T6 body were more appealing .

Now I am older and wiser and ( a bit ) richer I have changed my taste slightly . I have both a '55 pre A and a '64 C and think the aesthetic of the pre A is best of all with the curved sills and beehive rear lights and minimal chrome bits .

Read all the books and they’ll say the same - C worth more than B. I’m not convinced it’s true any more. I for one would pay more for a round bonnet car over a square bonnet car and I’ve heard many others say the same. Each to their own I guess.

I went B t-5 RHD. Didn't they make less as it was only in production for 1 year compared to an A which was from 56- 59?

No Ren, they made loads of T5s. In fact the numbers seem to increase with each new model.
The A from 56-59 came in three variations, it's like lumping all the Bs together.....
