I was told by now sadly departed Bob Watson that his car AMR 900L (now mine restored) still holds the lap record at Zandvoort for it's class - although I was unable to find any way of confirming this. Admittedly this is is because they changed the circuit just after, but I don't care!
If true, it would be nice to take a trip there in it just for the hell of it.

If a DDK delegation wants to visit the Zandvoort Historic Grand Prix next year, let me know!
I live just a half hour drive from Zandvoort in a beautiful part of the Netherlands (near Amsterdam). If you'ld come over a few days more than the Grand Prix weekend I could arrange for a great tour through the Dutch countryside, incorporate some nice tunnels, et cetera...
