I'd be interested in any A or late A doors you may have, both sides, door skins a possibility too. Also, all three decklids if they were available.

I realise you may get inundated with similar requests, no harm for me to ask anyhow :)

Cheers,
Padraig.

Here are some more photos. Rather than upload 70+ photos in the thread I've made a gallery HERE

Hello again.

Firstly, I initially had trouble finding what the 3 tool like rolls were. However, once you know what they are called, there is some info to be found.
They are Travel Kits, which had essential spares in them (spark plugs, fan belt, a few tools, gaskets etc) The ones I have are more or less empty but it seems the parts to fill them can be replaced. You can also get repro versions of the rolls themselves.
The grey rolls seem to be all from early / mid 60s cars (C onwards)

A complete NOS one on Pelican parts back in 2009

Secondly, thanks for all of your interest and PMs (sorry if I've not responded yet - I will)
I need to do two things:
Sell the larger parts first as they are the hardest to store. This will be all of the non A parts (as that's what my car is)
In light of this, I need to rediscover my car buried in my garage, see what I have, what I don't or what is better than what I have. At this point, I will have a good idea of what is surplus & can go through the smaller & the 'A' items.

I had a few offers of help with identifying items and possible value (rough ideas)
If anyone is willing to help me via the lists I posted and the photos, I'd be really grateful. Please PM me or get in touch via gmail with my username.

Thanks again.

Gary

I did some cleaning today of a few bits. Would you believe, under all that dust I found two engine lids!!
The irony is that one of the chassis stamps is 914 : )

I think both of these are late B - C but not sure. Also, one is for a cabriolet. I'm guessing that's the white one as it's smaller??
Can anyone enlighten me. Thanks if you can.

Also, I have engine lid grills. I've not tried them in either of the lids (I don't have them here) Is there a way to tell from looking which they are?
Images HERE & HERE (they're a bit big to post here) Mike at PRS said 2 x A grills & 2 x B/C but I'm not sure which is which or if the later ones are for the coupe or cab?

I also cleaned up all of the hood / bonnet ornaments.

It's slow work but I'm making some ground.

Thanks in advance for any replies

You can tell the difference between the cabriolet and coupe by the curve in the grill, the coupe one has the curve the cabriolet is almost flat. Also the coupe engine lid has more curve around the edges as well as the curve to fit the grill. (I think I got that the right way round).

All twin grill engine lids are the T6 body shape, so summer 1962 to end of production.

If you have more specific questions, by all means PM me. Always happy to help. :)

Looks like you've got some real treasure too!
