Re: RHD 356's
On the BT6's in Australia - my unrestored car (except front seats and carpet):
Was number 32 of 44 delivered to Australia and New Zealand and Hamilton’s Australia O/N 537
Coupe 63 # 122964 Eng. P610544
Champagne Yellow
Brown(Tan) interior
Normal
O/N 536 is my sister car delivered to Australia and a consecutive chassis number in Champagne Yellow as well (2 of only 3 in Champagne delivered)
#122965 Eng P610089
Jan-63
Champagne Yellow
Interior Grey
Normal
Geoff Starkey who has already compiled a history of the BT6s in Australia, notes: ... at least 75% of these 44 are estimated to survive. Of subsequent T6B’s into Australia and New Zealand, right hand drive (RHD), left hand drive (LHD), and left to right conversions we can also point to now similar numbers. It would only be a rough estimation but there would be no more that 100 T6B’s of all types currently on our shores."

If there are any period photos I could use then they would be a welcome addition.

Re: RHD 356's
Hendrik, once the RHD book is finished your challenge is to drive all of the RHD cars that are still on the road. That should keep you busyHendrik Moulds wrote:Yes, we have all the facts.POR68 wrote:So you have all the Australian info you need Hendrik?

Re: RHD 356's
It is the stories of cars and people that go with the facts that are often as interesting. Will see what I can find and send.
