+1, would be a shame.
Best use for that one is for someone to run and enjoy for years without having to spend a fortune.
+2.....one to use and enjoy.
Plus I feel complete 912's deserve to saty that way, they're great cars in their own right.
And anyway, it's a 68!

I think the problem with many '
drivers' at this price range (and £60-70K come to that) is that many are actually quite rotten deep down and fundamentally still need more or less the same restoration work as the BaT car.......the fact that they can still be used and driven for many years holds up value but not a great place to start if you want to restore.
The BaT car obviously made more sense for an American buyer, it would have potentially been £35K plus here after taking shipping and VAT etc into account. Too much imo for a car needing so much work and with so few core parts......but hey, go find one!
I'll just need to man up, sell a car and pay the money if I really want another project!
First time I've ever looked at BaT and have to say the formula seems pretty fair even though I'm not a big fan of auction buying.

Don't rush Darren, something always comes up if you are patient and you have two great cars to play with in the meantime.
I know that you know that I know where there is a great 67 911 car that would be ideal!!
